1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by A Certain Age Careers (ACAC), operated by Davida Jones ABN 71657835774 (we, us, our). By booking a service with ACAC you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Our services are delivered online via Microsoft Teams to clients located in Australia.
2. Our Services
ACAC offers the following career development services to women aged 40 and over:

RESET — Single career development sessions (50–60 minutes, $125 per session)

RENEW — Single counselling-informed career development sessions (60–75 minutes, $190 per session)

REBUILD — Tailored multi-session programs (4 sessions, $700 or 6 sessions, $1,100)

Free Discovery Call — A complimentary 30-minute introductory conversation available to all prospective clients
A Discovery Call is required before any paid service commences. This allows us to discuss your situation and confirm which service pathway is most appropriate for you.
ACAC services are career development services. They are not crisis counselling, psychological therapy, or job placement services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or crisis service.
3. Booking and Payment
Bookings are made online via the ACAC website booking system. Full payment is required at the time of booking and confirms your appointment. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
For REBUILD programs, payment arrangements are confirmed at the time of booking.
Prices are listed in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable. ACAC reserves the right to update pricing from time to time. Current pricing will always be displayed on the website at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
As sessions are reserved exclusively for you, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the full session fee.
In cases of genuine emergency, one discretionary reschedule may be offered at no additional cost. This is at the sole discretion of ACAC. Repeated cancellations may affect the continuation of ongoing services.
For REBUILD programs, sessions must be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe agreed at the time of booking. Sessions cannot be carried over indefinitely.
5. Concession Rates
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for women experiencing financial hardship or holding a current concession card. Concession rates are offered at our discretion and are available on request. Please enquire when making contact.
6. Confidentiality
ACAC is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information shared during sessions. Information disclosed in sessions will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
Confidentiality has limits. We are required by law to disclose information in the following circumstances:

Where there is a risk of serious harm to you or another person

Where disclosure is required by a court order or other legal obligation
If a situation arises where confidentiality must be breached, we will endeavour to discuss this with you first wherever it is safe and appropriate to do so.
7. No Outcomes Guarantee
ACAC provides career development support to the best of our professional ability. However, we make no guarantee as to specific career outcomes, employment outcomes, or other external results arising from participation in our services. Your outcomes will depend on your individual circumstances, the effort you invest, and factors outside our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, ACAC’s liability for any claim arising from the provision of services is limited to the resupply of those services or a refund of the amount paid for those services, whichever ACAC elects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
9. Intellectual Property
All resources, tools, documents, and materials provided to you during sessions remain the intellectual property of ACAC. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written consent.
10. Variation
ACAC may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the ACAC website with a revised date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Severance
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, that provision will be severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
